Krishnamurti Paddhati Astrology

Krishnamurti Paddhati was invented by the famous astrologer K. S. Krishnamurti. K. P system is a specific system of Indian astrology through stellar astrology or Nakshatra Jyotish. The concept of Sub-Lord in Indian astrology was first introduced by K. S. Krishnamurti. This Sub-lord concept is based on Vimshottari Mahadasha. This system can be considered as an advanced part of Vedic astrology. The Ayanamsa used in this system is called K. P. Ayanamsa. The rules of Krishnamurti system are written in a set of 6 books called K. P. Reader. All astrologers who use this system are called K. P. Astrologer. Using this system of astrology, very accurate predictions can be made if the exact time of birth is found. Sir K. S. Krishnamurti used the concept of ruling planets to correct the time of birth. One of the most widely used concepts in the Krishnamurti system is horary astrology.

Difference between Vedic and Kp Astrology

There is a difference between KP astrology and Vedic astrology or Parashari system, although KP system is based on Parashari astrology system. We will discuss how it differs from Vedic astrology.
In Vedic Astrology or Parashari Astrology, planetary conjunctions with the Lagna are read and predictions are made based on yoga formation and divisional charts. On the other hand, in KP Astrology, predictions are made based on Nakshatra, Cups, House Significator and Sub-Lords.
In Vedic astrology, the birth chart is prepared considering the house system Sripati or equal house system, whereas in the KP system, the birth chart is said to be Nirayana Bhava Chalit which is based on the Placids house system.
In Vedic astrology, the house center or Bhavamadhya is considered, whereas in KP astrology, the cup is given priority.
In Krishnamurti system, more important than the sign in which a planet is located, the most important thing is the star and sub-lord in which the planet is located and predictions are made accordingly. On the other hand, in Vedic astrology, divisional charts are used for accurate predictions.
In Vedic astrology calculations, various types of Ayanamsa are used in making birth charts, one of which is B.V. Raman, Chandra Hari, True Pushya, True Mula and Lahiri. In KP astrology, KP Ayanamsa is used for accurate results.
Although there are vast differences between the two systems, the use of Vimshottari Mahadasha and its application is a common theme in both Vedic astrology and the Krishnamurti system.

Pros and cons of Kp astrology

The Krishnamurti System (KP System) is a modern and scientific astrology system, which is based on Stellar Naadi Astrology and is capable of making very accurate predictions. However, this method is not always applicable, because accurate predictions through the Krishnamurti System are possible only when the correct birth information—especially the birth time—is available. But in real life, many people do not know the birth time, and sometimes even the date of birth, accurately. In such cases, it is not possible to apply a very accurate astrology like the Krishnamurti System. Although there are several reliable methods of birth time rectification in this system, if we have to explain the advantages and disadvantages of the Krishnamurti System in one word, it can be said:
Advantage: It is capable of providing very accurate and realistic predictions.
Disadvantage: The exact birth time required for this accurate prediction is not available in many cases — this is the biggest limitation of this system.
